Approach
Person-centered, present-focused, process-oriented, systems-based, trauma-informed, non-pathologizing, contextual, phenomenological, co-creative, attachment-based, culturally sensitive, non-normative, sex positive, LGBTQIA+ safe & affirming, kink & poly-friendly….these are just some of the words to describe my approach to the practice of therapy.

In general, I am an eager student of all change theories and healing modalities, and I integrate universal teachings from many sources of knowledge. Besides staying aware of contemporary science and other evidence-based research, “eye” also love to explore nature/space, music, dance, theatre, art, literature, mysticism, spirituality, religion, history, philosophy, and global culture to access wisdom and inspiration, encouragement and motivation.

I understand there is no one size fits all, and I am not rigidly bound to any one theory or model. I value collaborating with my clients to discover what works best for them, and I welcome all potential clients to meet me and decide for yourself if you feel that connection before choosing to work together. Your therapeutic journey is unique, and our interactions are dynamic.  As the therapy experience unfolds, clients are presented with regular opportunities to provide feedback about how the process, and our relationship, is developing.

Thanks for considering me as your potential therapist. I look forward to the privilege of getting to know more about you, and I am hopeful that I can be of meaningful support!
